Winter days are gone for the most part, and I’ve decided to go to the beach and enjoy a beautiful day with the company of some of my favorite people.
Putting together a fashionable outfit to go and enjoy a day at the beach might sound like a burdensome task. However, it sure can be loads of fun and you can let your imagination free to make you feel like a beautiful mermaid.
I had never tried wearing an outfit to the beach instead of a swimming suit, but there is always a first time for everything. I can already tell, this is going to be the first time of many.
The beach is by far one of my favorite places in the world. I like looking at the ocean and imagining what may be happening at the other side. Along with the crashing waves, all of my problems seem to fade away.
That’s why I love wearing bright, fetching colors to the beach. These colors give me a lively air to match the beautiful scenery. In this opportunity, I wore a bright pink, long dress. It has a very nice texture to it and flows with the wind making me feel free and relaxed.
Whenever choosing your outfit remember it needs to be beach-friendly. You have to be willing to get it dirty and wet as well as easy to wash; so keep that in mind when shopping for the perfect beach dress.
There are many stores in which you can find the perfect outfit without investing a whole load of money. I encourage you to look through your favorite outlet stores or sales options, as there is no need of investing a whole lot of money in an outfit, because at the end of the day you don’t want to be worried about the well being of the dress at the beach. You want to have fun, dance, enjoy, run and play, without the concern of ruining a dress that might have being a couple hundred dollars.
It’s not the perfect outfit without some accessories!
I played with a couple of different accessory sets for my day at the beach.
One of my favorite pieces is this beautiful pearl necklace that can brighten up any day –even a sunny, sand and sea one! It gives a taste of elegance and youth, all in once.
Another one of my favorites, is this retro-looking bead necklace, which gives a nice old-school look. My hair is naturally very big and wavy, so this necklace helps me get this retro vibe I was going for.
Let your hair down –figuratively- and let it loose, however, avoid getting it sunburnt. Don’t heat style it for the marine breeze will be humid. Besides, it will help you look naturally gorgeous.
You’ll probably want to choose some nice sandals or flip-flops, too. If you’re a heels girl like me, find some that are easy to take off and light to carry, dry sand works as a great exfoliator and walking on wet sand is a great treat to your soles.
A panama hat and casual sunglasses are always a nice plus when going to the beach. Top it off with a smile and finish off your look beautifully!
Most importantly: Enjoy! At the end of the day what matters is how you felt with the memories you created.
